Grandparents

Being a grandparent is perhaps one of the greatest joys in life. Your heart fills to the brim with love for your grandchild; perfect and sweet. All you want to do is help, to be there in any and all ways possible. The support and love grandparents provide their families and their grandchildren are invaluable.

“Help me help my child” is a phrase we hear quite often. As you might expect, when a grandparent learns that their daughter or son is going to have a baby born with Down syndrome, they want to help.

Our goal is to promote inclusion and independence for individuals living with Down syndrome, and to that end, we aim to provide the best, most up-to-date information to their families. Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us. We are here for you and your family.
