RMDSA hosts a number of annual events, including the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk every September, the Tee Up for Down Syndrome Golf Tournament every June, and a number of family-friendly activities throughout the year.
The annual Tee Up for Down Syndrome Golf Tournament is a scramble-style tournament perfect for both seasoned and beginner golfers. The tournament begins at 12:00 pm and is followed by an after party, dinner, and live auction. Proceeds from this event directly fund RMDSA programs and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout Colorado. This year the event will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at The Club at Inverness in Englewood, CO. Register today to participate.
The Step Up for Down Syndrome walk in Denver is the largest gathering of people with Down syndrome in Colorado with more than 4,000 attendees, 100 volunteers, 35 Resource Fair exhibitors, and a whole lot of fun! The event spreads awareness about Down syndrome and inclusion, celebrates individuals with Down syndrome and their families, and raises funds to support RMDSA programs and services throughout Colorado. This year the walk will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in City Park Denver. Registration for the event will open in July 2024.
